Mraz uses a 'No mistakes, No Rules' approach to her paintings.
Her love of color, contour line and shape takes the viewer to the edge of reality and beyond. "I like to leave the viewer with lots of questions that are open to a variety of answers. Art should start the journey not end it."

About the Images

 My paintings begin with a feeling for a certain image, color or line. There is not alot of preplanning or drawing. Sometimes I paint over another painting letting some of the previous painting show through as texture or design. Using hand-painted papers I cut and add  layers of texture and pattern over this beginning background .  . Yummy......I love to cut up old paintings and turn them into paper mosaics ( Guardian Series: Ladies in Waiting ).  ......mraz
