I paint in watercolor because I never tire of seeing what the paints will do together if I give them a little free playtime. My subjects are usually landscapes because I see so many wondrous things outdoors, constantly changing as the seasons, the light and the locations change. I'm not bound by the details of a scene, but hope to convey the feeling of being there, using limited colors and brushstrokes, to create a pleasing composition. While painting, I relive my experience of being there. I hope to share those views and feelings with my viewers.
